Working with Russell I have become faster and quicker in just a few sessions a week and 2 hours per session. After working with Russell for two weeks I got my 40 yard dash time down from a 4.52 to a 4.42 and my 20 yard shuttle time down from a 4.22 to a 4.16. I went from being ranked the 57th cornerback in the nation to being the #16 ranked CB. Russell has done me well and I recommend him to anyone who wants to get better.

—Elizabeth Williams First time I met Russell was at 24 Fitness. He was an on-staff trainer that was offered to me after signing up for membership. They give you this deal of 5 free training session. Tell you the truth, I didn't even want the deal. I brushed it off and just went straight to the basketball court. A few months passed by and I got a call from Russell. He reminded me about my 5 free sessions. I hesitated for a moment and then agreed to meet up with him at the gym. I thought to myself, "I'm going to milk these 5 sessions and not fall for their trap". Oh, I knew - they want you to take these sessions and THEN make you pay for more after. Psssssh...not going to happen to me. But-Damn-That-Russell!!! I signed up for 28 more sessions.
Basketball is my life, my love. And right off the bat, Russell was more than qualified to train me in just that. I was always worried about lifting weights and stuff. Thought it would ruin my shot by adding more muscle in my arms, etc. Oh how naive I was. Russell's training improved my shot even more! He knows, man. He knows the human body. He knows how it works and how to work it. Come'on, two masters degree...that proves it already. Even the other trainers at 24 would come up to him asking questions - at least one every other day of my trainiing! Results came quick. After the fourth session, my vertical hop improved. I actually felt like I was floating during one of his jumping excercise. But let me warn you...MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CLEAR WEEK OF NO PHYSICAL WORK AFTER THE FIRST SESSION DAY! That was a warning folks...take it with you. I barely made it down the stairs from 24 on my first day with Russell. My shots were more accurate. There were times I didn't have to try and it would go in. My defense and rebounding improved. Russell also taught me how control my body to avoid injuries. Didn't know landing after a hop could cause so much harm to your body. He's not only an incredible, well educated trainer to me...but also a friend. Russell is well mannered, easy going, and humorous at times. I normally don't speak to people about my personal life, but it was easy to do that with Russell. He's also a very kind person. Sometimes during my excercise, he would stop people from injuring themselves and give them a tip on how to excercise effectively. So, if you want fast results through fun intimate training...Russell is your guy. Don't let that scrawny body fool you...he'll give you what you want/need. —Hao Lam |
